How many guests can you accommodate for a communion or baptism party?
Our private dining room seats 75, and holds 85 for a buffet or cocktail style event. Smaller family lunches work in the room too. Tell us your date, your headcount and whether you want a seated lunch or a buffet.
Can you host a lunch straight after Mass?
Yes. We open at 12pm Tuesday through Saturday, which suits a luncheon following morning services. For a Sunday sacrament we can open the room early for a booked private party, so tell us your Mass time when you inquire and we will build the day around it.
Is there a minimum party size or minimum spend?
We do not work from a fixed number. Every party is put together around the headcount, the date and what you want to serve, so tell us what you have in mind and we will build options that fit.
Do you take a deposit to hold a date?
It depends on the size and timing of the party. We will confirm what is needed when we hold your date.
Is there a fee for bringing a cake or wine?
Yes. The cake fee is $3 per person. Corkage is $30 per bottle, with a two bottle maximum.
Do you offer catering trays for confirmation celebrations?
Yes. We offer off premise catering throughout Mahopac and Putnam County, with carry out trays of appetizers, pasta, pizza, salads and entrees for serving at home or in a church hall. Catering can also be ordered online through Toast and scheduled for pickup.
How much notice do you need for a catering order?
It depends on the size of the order and the time of year. Spring weekends fill quickly for baptisms and communions, so get in touch as early as you can. Tell us whether you need a straight drop off or something more hands on and we will work it out with you.
Do you serve areas outside Mahopac?
Yes. We cater throughout Putnam County, including Carmel, Brewster, Putnam Valley and Cold Spring.
